The group has announced that the trails will be open for recreational use beginning on December 1, 2025.  As of now access is blocked to trails until opening day.  Also opening that day will be the safety shelter.  Grooming of trails will be based on snow amounts during the first month.

Know Your Trails with Great Falls Snowmobile Club Tracker

As grooming begins for the 2025/2026 season, the schedule will remain the same on the trails.  According to their website, "Monday through Thursday nights and again Saturday night. We groom the cross-country trails Thursday evenings.  For the first little while our schedule is based on usage. "

The club also offers anyone, member or not, the ability to view where the groomer has already been across the 300 miles of trails.  The Trek Tracker allows users to see where the groomer is currently and when the trails were last given attention.  You can find out more at the GFSC website here.
