Deadlines Approaching for Public Comment on Fish and Fire in Montana

Deadlines in July are approaching for two different projects that MFWP needs public input on:

  • Bull River WMA Forest Habitat Improvement and Fuels Reduction Project Scoping Notice - Comment Deadline: July 19
  • Yellowstone cutthroat trout introduction into Bokma Reservoir Draft EA - Comment Deadline: July 21

For Montana residents wishing to comment on the above proposals, MFWP is accepting them online at their website here.

Public Comment on Hunting Rules with Landowners in Montana

The Montana Wildlife Commission is also seeking public input on new rules for hunting set forth in Senate Bill 87 by the Montana Legislature.  The adoption of the new rules would "further clarify how rules on private landowner’s property enrolled in public access agreements will be adopted and enforced"
