Great Falls Teen Council Looking for New Members Now

Keeping a teenager happy and busy isn't an easy chore, especially in today's world.  It is an age-old adage that comes with every single generation through history:

"There isn't anything to do..."

How many times have you heard that from your teenager over the last day?  My guess is probably a few.  But at the same time, who better to let us know what they want to do.

Great Falls Public Library and City Park and Rec Join Forces with Teens

About this time last year, the City of Great Falls Park and Recreation Department and the Great Falls Public Library joined forces to form the "Great Falls Teen Council".

The council is made up from local teenagers with a mission of "to be active young members of the community, build community connections and leadership skills, bridge the link between local government and city's new leaders. Most importantly plan some amazing activities for teens in Great Falls."

Teenagers are Encouraged to Apply to the Great Falls Teen Council Anytime

For teenagers that are interested in being a part of the council, there are several extra beneficial things that help with your after high school path:

• You can earn volunteer hours
• Help improve your college applications
• Help improve your personal resume
• Be a part of the city of Great Fall's future
