Great Falls Students Show Off Creativity In Parking Lot Art

• CMR High School in Great Falls has an all-new look for the senior student parking area courtesy of the seniors themselves
• Incoming Seniors at the school are assigned parking spots and are given the opportunity to paint them to their liking for the school year
• The school is also requesting donations to help those students who may be unable to afford paint and supplies

Have You Noticed Some Student Activity Recently at CMR High School?

At first glance, the scene may have you doing a double take.  Students armed with paint brushes and buckets of paint crouching everywhere in the CMR High School senior student parking lot.

Don't worry, there isn't anything nefarious going on at our public school.  This creative fun is meant to bring about school spirit, show personality and to celebrate the final year of their high school career.

Incoming CMR High School Seniors Grab Buckets and Brush Recently

Leading up to the 2025/2026 school year in Great Falls, incoming CM Russell seniors headed to their student parking lot with buckets and brushes.  So far, 86 students have painted their own unique design, saying or colors for their parking area.

For Student Parking Lot Painting Days, each student must submit a proposal including paint requirements to the administrator for approval first.  Students must also have an assigned spot number in the parking lot.  Once approved, its paint time.

Want to Help a Student at CMR?  Here's How to Donate Paint to the Cause

The high school currently has 86 spots that have been selected for paint by students.  But there are over 140 spots that have yet to be filled within the parking lot.  Students who haven't chosen one yet can still do so by stopping by the school office for details.

If you would like to help a student that would like a space but may not be able to afford to paint the area, CMR is taking donations for those seniors.  To help, stop into the CMR High School office to do so.  The school will also issue a receipt for tax purposes to you upon request.
