Great Falls Public Schools to Host Important Fairs for Parents

I know, I know, we just started getting some summer heat across the Electric City, and I am mentioning getting kids back to the schoolyard.  But in just a little over a month, it will be that time in Great Falls for kids to head into classrooms.

To prepare both students and parents, the Great Falls Public Schools (GFPS) are hosting a few events to get everyone back into the back-to-school mode before it is too late and you are wondering where your time went.

Great Falls Public Schools to Host Important Fairs for Parents

For families arriving through the summer at Malmstrom Air Force Base, GFPS will be hosting their annual Information Fair for families with students who will be attending Loy Elementary, North Middle School and C.M. Russell High School.  The fair will be held at the Loy school, 501 57th Street North on August 6, 2026, from 10am to 1pm.

That same day, the annual United Way Stuff the Bus Campaign will also take place, with buses placed at Target Stores on 10th Avenue South, and at both locations of Walmart Stores in Great Falls.  The event helps collect basic needs and more for kids.

One More Before the Big Date in August for Kids and Parents in Great Falls

The final big event with the schools will be held on August 16, 2026, and the Back-to-School Blast to be held at Montana Expo Park and the Family Living Center.  The blast is scheduled from 11am-1pm for pre-registered students.  Walk-ins for the event begin at 1pm and will last until 3pm.
