As the big thaw begins across Montana heading into March, events across the state are beginning to show up more and more each weekend.  One of the annual events that comes to Great Falls is the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet.

The event aims to bring family and friends together for an evening of information, great food and chances to win some incredible prizes throughout the evening.

The RMEF in the United States and Montana is more than just about elk.  The foundation is about conservation and to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and the Montana hunting heritage.
