
How To Volunteer with the Great Falls Rescue Mission This Year
Holiday happenings are beginning to peak out of the corners of Great Falls and pretty much everywhere. In fact, they probably have been around for the last few weeks. And many of us are beginning to plan family gatherings and holiday parties.
But we should also consider giving back to our community at this time. And if I am being honest, we should all strive to help at any time of the year. It seems though the holidays tend to bring spirit not seen in other parts of the year, and now is the time to think about volunteering this holiday season.

How To Volunteer with the Great Falls Rescue Mission This Year
Helping those less fortunate is probably easier than what you think. Volunteering your time, knowledge and presence can be invaluable to someone struggling during the holidays.

There are many organizations in the Great Falls and Cascade County area that you can volunteer at to help serve meals, wrap gifts, deliver food or even help decorate at. Including the Great Falls Rescue Mission, who have several opportunities coming for individuals or families to help with.
Family, Friends and Even Co-Workers can Help Volunteer for the Holidays
The Mission in Great Falls has several events that are in need of help this holiday season, and it is the perfect way to help and give back in the Electric City. Events that are available include:
- Veteran's Day on November 11th
- Cat/Griz Thanksgiving Food Drive Day November 14th
- Thanksgiving Day November 27th
- Decorate the Mission on November 29th
- Christmas Parties at the Shelter December 12th
