Annual Sparkettes Fundraiser to Return for 2026 in Great Falls

At this time of the year, most of us are trying to fight off mosquito bites and wasps and trying to squeeze as much of the nice weather as possible.  For others, thoughts of bloody axes, creepy dolls and mad scientists are top of mind.

Those thoughts almost became a memory for the Sparkettes of Montana in Great Falls.  Their annual fundraiser faced an uncertain future beginning in 2026, but perhaps with a little help from a friendly ghost, the group is now planning big fun come October.

Annual Sparkettes Fundraiser to Return for 2026 in Great Falls

In early February of 2026, the Sparkettes announced that the property that held the annual Halloween "Trail of Terror" fundraiser event had been sold.  The group were given 30 days to remove all of the equipment, buildings and more associated with the event.

After volunteers and local businesses pitched in to help, the Sparkettes were left wondering what would happen with their annual event.  Or if it would even be possible.  However, after several months of uncertainty, the group has now officially announced they will return for the holiday.

Annual Fundraiser Brings All Ages Together for Frightful Fun Each Halloween

Through social media, the Sparkettes have announced that the Trail of Terror will be back, but dates and the all-new location for the trail are still under wraps.  The group did offer a little insight into the new attraction, saying goblins and ghouls can expect a complete redo of the displays, with new ones already planned.
