Show Us the Best You Grew During Montana Summer 2025

I have to give due credit to Mother Nature for the Summer of 2025 in Montana.  Just past mid-August and we still have a lot of green around Great Falls and the state from moisture in June and July and parts of this month.

That isn't to say it isn't dry in certain areas.  Our air quality is a testament to that lately.  But as the season starts to wind down, I looked back at some of the great photos of plants in our yard that my wife grew this year.  How did your backyard display work out for this summer?

The Lupine - Spears of Beauty in So Many Different Colors

Of the flowers my wife grows, I have to say that the lupine has to be one of my all-time favorites when it comes to brightening the yard and garden.

They are wonderful plants for attracting butterflies and pollinators alike.  The great bonus if you happen to live in a deer laden area, they are resistant to being nibbled on by Bambi.  They are also incredibly hardy and well suited for the climate in Montana.
