Volunteer Adventures on Hold in Bob Marshal for Now
The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation (BMWF) is known for providing access to and stewardship of Montana’s 1.6-million-acre Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. The group of volunteers work closely with the United States Forest Service to help maintain the complex.
Since 1997, the BMWF have cleared and improved over 10,000 miles of trail. Other areas the group helps promote include:
- opening trails
- restoring native habitat
- mitigate user impacts
- engage youth and adults in wilderness experiences that change lives and instill a lasting land ethic.
