Are You Tough Enough To Support Special Olympics Montana?
You have heard about those tractor pull competitions, but have you heard of a plane pull? Well, get ready for this one. Teams of 6 will be actually pulling a plane to see which team can get the fastest time. The best part, it's all for Special Olympics Montana.
Coming up on September 23rd at 1940 Airport Ct in Great Falls, teams of 6 will pull a Challenger 600 airplane 20 feet. This isn't one of those little planes either, this is a 30,000 pound plane. Twenty feet doesn't seam like a long distance, but I bet it would feel like a million miles when pulling a plane. It's the 2023 West Plane Pull.
Now is the time to get your teams together and start raising those funds for Special Olympics Montana. Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $500. Register your team here. There is car pull competition for those 12 years old and younger; they are asked to raise a minimum of $50. Details are here for the Youth Car Pull. For those of us who want to support but don't want to actually pull a 30,000 pound plane, we can just choose to donate here.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is bringing the West 2023 Plane Pull, hosted by Holman Aviation. Proceeds will benefit over 3,100 Special Olympic Athletes in Montana. Local businesses can help support by becoming an Event Sponsor for $500. There are also great incentive prizes for top earners.
Start pumping some iron, and eat that canned spinach, to get those Popeye arms. Or hang out at the gym and find yourself some ringers. This competition will bring out "the gun show".
