New Recall to Affect Popsicle Lovers in Montana

With just one weekend before school is underway in Great Falls, how many of you are going to have a house full of kids enjoying that one last final hurrah of the year?  One last big party to celebrate summer and a more subtle one for the parents probably as well.

FDA Issues Warning about Packaging Being Mis-labeled in Montana and More

In a release on the Food and Drug Administration website, the company behind the popular Popsicle brand announced that they were making a voluntary recall of over 137,000 cases of the Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop products (single serve offerings).

The products may contain milk, which is not listed as an ingredient on the label.  The release stated that "Persons who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product."

How to Get a Refund if You Purchased these in Montana

The FDA release says that the recall only effects:

Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop single-serve products which are marked for individual sale. These products are typically sold through channels such as ice cream trucks, concession stands, and grab-and-go freezers throughout the United States.
