Built Ford Tough. We probably all remember that saying back in the day. And while I am sure they are still built well, certain components are not up to snuff when it comes to safety standards.
A recent new recall by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has been issued for over 30,000 vehicles under the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company.
Faulty Dashes Part of New Recall in U.S. and Montana
The NHTSA reports that the panoramic and center displays may reboot while driving, resulting in a blank screen in certain Lincoln Nautilus models. The cause is related to several software-related faults in the multimedia module that drives the panoramic and center displays which may lead to unexpected screen resets.

In the recall notice by the NHTSA, the description of the safety risk, including crash, fire, death, injury is:
A blank cluster display can result in loss of safety-related telltales and gauges, increasing the risk of a crash. A missing rear-view camera display image while in reverse can reduce visibility of vehicle surroundings, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Has Issued Software Updates - Check Your Local Montana Dealer for More
If you have questions regarding your Lincoln Nautilus or have noticed problems with the media module, contact your local Ford Service Department for more details on a software update.
Owner notification letters will be sent out by the company beginning on June 16, 2025, and all owners should be notified by June 20, 2025. Vehicle identification numbers can be searched at the national database through NHTSA here.
