Local Ranchers Lay the Cornerstone of the PRCA in Belt, Montana

Beginning in 1955, the Little Belt Cowboys Association originally was called the Little Belt Riding and Roping Club.  Local ranchers getting together to test each other and see who the best was.

In 1961 the Association would turn from amateur status to joining the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit.  Since then, the event has become known as the "Biggest Little Rodeo" in the state.
