When it comes to St. Patrick's Day in Montana, almost immediately people begin mentioning Butte, America as the place to be. If you haven't ever been to the festivities in their fair city, I can tell you it is an experience that everyone should have.
But if you don't want to travel for that day, or even that weekend, you have an awesome choice right in the Electric City. Our annual parade with the local chapter of Hibernians is becoming a premiere parade in Great Falls, and it kicks of the year with a parade load of pomp and circumstance.

It might be tough to believe, but the Great Falls Chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians has been operating in the city since the 1800's. At least over 126 years, and probably more.

That same chapter has championed the same principles throughout the years also:
remain committed to our community and our state, by providing Irish heritage and historical events, as well as supporting Catholic education through mentoring and scholarships.
Part of that commitment is the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, and now is the time to signup, with spots filling up fast for this ever-growing parade.

If you, your family or group want to be in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Great Falls, registration is open now with the Hibernians. The entry fee for this year is $40, or 14 cans of food. To view the entry form, visit here.
The Great Falls Ancient Order of Hibernians will hold the parade downtown starting at 1:30pm on Saturday March 14, 2026. Parade registration deadline is March 7, 2026.
