The shelter is not taking in strays at this current time. They issued the following statement in regard to stray animals:
We will be temporarily suspending intakes of stray animals until the work is complete. However, Animal Control is still available for assistance. If you find a stray, we encourage you to first try to locate the owner before contacting Animal Control, as many pets are simply lost and can be quickly reunited with their families. We remain committed to supporting our Animal Control Officers and the important work they do.
