Being in the somewhat entertainment industry, I try to keep up on most of the trends that pop up to stay in touch with listeners and readers alike. It may be the hot new game coming out, new place to eat, etc.
But after hitting a local store parking lot to do some shopping, I noticed an advertisement on a vehicle that really had me second guessing what the social norm is for something like asking for money.

As I pulled into the parking lot, a vehicle parked all by itself at the entry had the typical "just married" lettering across the side and back windows. But also written across all the windows was a calling for donating money via the Cash App website.

Now, maybe it was simply meant for those that attended the wedding and would see it. But wouldn't you just include the money in the card that you throw into the pile when you get there?
Societal Norms Have Maybe Changed Since I Was Married in Great Falls
I know that things evolve. But asking for money from strangers seems to be one of those societal things that hasn't. Maybe the vehicle was just parked quickly as they were getting ready to head out on their honeymoon.
