Explore Hidden Stories and Curious Spaces in Helena

Within our capitol city of Helena, Montana lies many a varied space that holds significant historical value.  Now, with the help of Preserve Montana and the Montana Historical Society, we all will have a chance to tour some of the most impressive and important buildings.

The Explore Montana Hidden Helena event will be held in Helena on October 5th, 2024, between 12pm and 5pm.  Attendees will be able to "explore the hidden stories and curious spaces inside more than a dozen of the most beloved historic houses, businesses and civic buildings in Montana's Capital".

Featured areas throughout Helena for the public to enjoy including:

Climb the turret of the Bluestone House, walk the same halls as cattle baron Conrad Kohrs and his friend Theodore Roosevelt at the Kohrs Mansion, and experience the former Shaw's Best Factory hidden in plain sight along a neighborhood alley.

Tickets for this event are available now at the Preserve Montana website here.  Prices are $32 for members or $35 for non-members.  Children under 12 are free.  Ticket sales will end on October 3 and are only available via online purchase. All proceeds support the protection of Montana’s irreplaceable historic places, traditional landscapes and cultural heritage.
