It now gets to add another feather to the cap of accomplishments for "The Square". That new feather is a prestigious award for an amazing display that was both featured and originating at the PGSMoA.

Museums of Montana Gathering Makes Announcement in Bozeman
In a press release through the PGSMoA it was announced that the Museums Association of Montana had selected "WITHIN: Louis Still Smoking & John Isaiah Pepion" as the winner of the 2024 Professional Accomplishment in New Exhibit Presentation.

The artwork comes from artists Louis Still Smoking and John Isaiah Pepion who "commit themselves to artmaking to teach the public about Blackfeet life ways and culture" according to the release.

The museum is located at 1400 1st Avenue North in Great Falls, Montana. Known also as "The Square" it is north-central Montana’s only contemporary art museum, founded in 1977.
