What to Know About Arts on Fire in Great Falls
Each early spring in Great Falls a familiar event hits the Electric City, and we become the "western art capital of the world" with the annual Russell Art Auction. But for me, our city is home all year to amazing artists showcasing their work.
To bring fall into Big Sky Country, The Square in Great Falls will be celebrating with another art tradition that brings the city to creative life. The annual Arts of Fire is coming with not only art, but much more for everyone to enjoy.

What to Know About Arts on Fire in Great Falls
The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art will host the 14th Annual Arts of Fire Festival coming to Great Falls on September 13th, 2025. And as the event has grown over the years with more being added each year, it amazes me they can keep it to just one day.

Arts on Fire is Free to the Public - Just Like the Museum Every Day
I am fortunate that I live within 2 blocks of The Square and can check out the new stuff that happens including the new installations outside of the building. The exhibitions are free to the public year-round. If you haven't been to the museum, check out their website here for the latest in news and art shows here.
The Square can also help with aspiring artists, offering quarterly sessions of art classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Free Art Programs provide free art classes and enrichment experiences to children and adults with disabilities; seniors; Veterans; and teenagers. To find out more, visit here.
