We wouldn't have the beautiful city we live in if it weren't for his determination and steadfastness.  Since 2010, the City Park and Recreation Department has honored those that hold true to that original thinking by awarding the annual Paris Gibson Award.

Winner of the 2025 Paris Gibson Award in Great Falls

The Great Falls Park and Recreation Department have announced that Jane Weber is the winner of the 2025 Paris Gibson Award.  The award is given to a nominee who is chosen by former award winners from past years.

The award is given to an individual who, according to the press release:

currently a resident of Great Falls; provided significant impact to the City of Great Falls; provided leadership for the community through volunteerism; and performed selfless action for the betterment of the community.

Weber's Many Accomplishments Highlighted in Upcoming Award Presentation

Of the countless accolades that highlighted the nomination and eventual award for Weber, the GFPRD said that:

For more than three decades, Jane Weber has dedicated herself to volunteer and professional activities. Jane has significantly contributed to the preservation of Great Falls’ history and to the ongoing improvements of Great Falls residents’ quality of life.

Weber will receive her award at a ceremony on June 25th at the first concert of the season by the Great Falls Municipal Band. The announcement will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Gibson Bandshell, in Gibson Park.
