This year, the Montana Audubon Society will be marking their 50th Anniversary in the state.  And over those 50 years, the organization has made it their mission to show appreciation, knowledge, and conservation of Montana’s native birds, other wildlife, and natural ecosystems.

As part of the celebration, the MAS and the Flathead chapter of the organization are bringing the birds to you this summer during the "Wings over the Big Sky" event.

Make Plans Now for Montana's Premiere Bird Festival in June

This summer, bird lovers will be making plans for what is called "Montana's Premiere Birding Festival", happening in Kalispell, Montana.  The event is scheduled for three days in the northwest part of the state, on June 12, 13, 14, 2026.

The festival will feature several events for the birding lover, including various daily bird spotting hikes during field trips around the area.  There will also be keynote speaker presentations, awards ceremonies and live auctions.

How to Get Your Tickets to the Premiere Birding Festival in Montana

To attend the Wings Over the Big Sky Event, tickets are available for field trips, meal choices and you can even sign up to be a member of the Audubon Society if you so choose.
