It may seem to have taken some time in Big Sky Country, but music festivals are happening everywhere across the state, including all year around.  It seems like there is a gathering of great artists and music every weekend, no matter what part of the state you are in.

Whether you enjoy fairs, festivals like Under The Big Sky, Rockin' The Rivers, Red Ants Pants Fest or maybe the Headwaters Country Jam, there are ample opportunities to get tickets and kick back for a weekend of fun.

Making A Stop at The Last Stage Stop for This All-New Gathering

When leaving the southern part of Montana, you will encounter the small town of Grant.  This was the last stagecoach stop before heading further West.  It will also be hosting the first of what is hoped to be many festivals in the coming years.

Lighting the Prairie on Fire - Prairie Palooza will be held on August 25th, 26th and 27th at this historic stagecoach stop.  Featuring acts from Montana, they also promise a few surprises and even jam sessions through the weekend.

Camping is available on a first come, first served basis.  There are select sites featuring hookups, but most sites will be for dry camping only.  If you don't want to bring the tent or camper, there is lodging available at several locations, including in Dillon, Elkhorn and Jackson Hotsprings.
