Montana Winds Can Be Awful - But Its Excellent for Kites
With a state leading wind speed average of just over 12mph, it isn't any wonder why the phrase "the only reason we know the wind isn't blowing is when it stops" is common around Great Falls.
Being stuck in between 3 mountain ranges doesn't help our cause much either. However, it can mean some really cool fun if a breeze doesn't put a damper on you having fun this June at one of the state's many parks.
