Banff Film Festival Returns to Great Falls with Ski Patrol

The annual Banff Mountain Film Festival is set to return to the Electric City on January 9, 2026, at the Great Falls High School Auditorium.  The tour is special in the Great Falls community because the city is usually the very first stop on the World Tour after films are judged and chosen for it.

Featured films aren't just about skiing, although you may find one in the selection.  The institute also includes films about conservation of land, effects of human intervention in ecosystems of both nature and people.  Films can also be lighthearted, involving surfing dogs, skiing cats or the call of the wolf in the wild.
