A small fire disrupted Kane Brown's performance at the Boston-area venue Fenway Park on Saturday night (July 20).

According to local news station WHDH, the fire broke out in a section of the stage's scaffolding. Brown paused his show for about 10 minutes so that crews could extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported, and there is an ongoing investigation to determine what caused the fire to break out.

"They announced it immediately. We knew approximately how long we were going to have to wait. And then when Kane Brown came back out, he apologized," attendee Kerri Besse told WHDH.

Country Now reports that Brown's setlist took a knock from the unexpected delay: He had to cut two songs out of his planned show due to the time it took to put the fire out.

Despite the fire, Brown's Fenway Park show was a banner moment for the star, who sold out the venue during this stop on his 2024 In the Air Tour. After he left the stage, the singer shared his happiness and gratitude on social media, posting a photo of himself smiling and posing at the ballpark venue.

"I have my ups and downs and recently I'm just genuinely happy," Brown wrote. "I love everybody for coming out tonight in Boston and showing out!"

He also thanked his opening acts for that date, including LoCash, RaeLynn and Jon Pardi.
