Here In Montana, we're pretty accustomed to the idea of having wildlife integrated into our daily lives.
Mountain Lion Sighting In Great Falls, Montana
While browsing the Internet the other day, I stumbled across a Facebook post asking if anyone else had recently seen a mountain lion in Great Falls.
This immediately caught my attention because although there's a lot of wildlife in the area, mountain lions are generally rare in the heart of town.
However, mountain lions are so elusive half the time you don't even know they're there when they're literally right next to you.

According to the Facebook post, police were knocking on doors around the Talus apartments on Thursday, warning people to watch out for this mountain.
No one in the comments on this post has seen the mountain lion or seems to have any updates on the situation.
Great Falls Police Department
According to Sergeant Lynch with the Great Falls Police Department, one person reported seeing a mountain lion and called the police.
Officers and deputies at the scene did not encounter anything resembling a mountain lion.
This does not mean the caller didn’t see a mountain lion; it just could not be confirmed.
As a precaution, they warned a few people who were outside with their dogs what they were on scene investigating.
