When it comes to Halloween costumes, the choices are almost endless in today's day and age.

No matter the profession, occupation, or celebrity, there's a strong possibility there's a Halloween costume to match it.

Halloween Costume Ideas

  • Charlie Russel
    • It's no secret that Charlie Russell left a legacy here in Great Falls. Dressing up as Charlie wouldn't be overly complex. Get yourself a good hat and a paintbrush, and you'll be set.
  • Paris Gibson
    • Known as the founder of Great Falls, Paris Gibson had his hand in just about every aspect of Great Falls in the early days. Hit up a Goodwill, grab a vintage suit and some facial hair, and you're ready.
  • Alma Smith Jacobs
    • Alma was the first African-American to serve as Montana state librarian. She headed the Great Falls Public Library from 1954 to 1973.
  • Meriweather Lewis or William Clark
    • These two key explorers spent a significant time in and around Great Falls. After all, the name Great Falls came from Lewis and Clark. They might be a bit more challenging to mimic for Halloween, but I'm sure you can figure it out with some creativity.

Show off your Great Falls-inspired costumes at Halloween events around town and give people a little Great Falls history lesson in the process!
