Great Falls PD Direct Tattoo Deposit Victims Not To Call
Facebook Drama In Great Falls Montana
Facebook posts on the What's Happening Great Falls Montana page started a frenzy on Wednesday, October 30th. A Great Falls man posted saying he had spoken with the Great Falls Police Department about a potential scam at a local tattoo studio in Great Falls stating they were accepting deposits and cancelling without returning the deposits.
We have no specific evidence of this happening but after a few hours there were hundreds of comments on this post all stating something similar about the same tattoo shop.

GFPD Issues Alert To Fraud Complaints
Most of these people who were experiencing the same complaint called the non emergent line for GFPD which created a huge influx of calls to the point where GFPD made a post on their Facebook page.
The post directed those with information about a possible fraud case to call the Montana Office of Consumer Protection. GFPD stated since the issue is a civil matter and not criminal the best route would be direct any complaints to the MOCP.

Tattoo Shop In Great Falls Allegedly Committing Fraud
This brings an issue into light that whether or not a business charges a deposit but cancels, if they should return that deposit. It is not uncommon for a tattoo shop to charge a deposit or even have some people pay in full before scheduling since cancelations on the customers part are very common but there are always those who take advantage of the system.
