Man Arrested In Idaho Admits To Killing Missing Montana Woman
On December 15th 2023, Megan Ashley Stedman went missing in the Bozeman/Livingston area.
Tragically, her story ends in death at the hands of her boyfriend.
Chris Foiles who was arrested in Idaho, and claims to have been Megan Ashley Stedman's boyfriend, has admitted to the murder of Megan.
According to Great Falls news station KRTV, he was traveling in a motor home that was spotted in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
After contacting the Bozeman police department the Idaho Falls Police department was able to obtain an arrest warrant for Chris Foiles, and began surveillance on the RV until the Bozeman police could arrive.

Suspect Waived His Miranda Rights
Shortly after setting up the surveillance, Chris Foiles allegedly exited the vehicle and according to reports from the Idaho Falls Police Department and KRTV said the following,
I am Chris Foiles, I killed my girlfriend, she is in the RV.
According to the story Chris told police, he and Megan had traveled from Montana to Idaho and arrived in Idaho Falls on December 22nd, 2023.
After parking in a Walmart parking lot, an argument broke out between the two in which Chris stated that he,
intentionally stabbed Megan in the chest with the intent to kill her.
Later, when he could hear Megan was still alive and moving, he allegedly went back and stabbed her repeatedly until she stopped.
Chris was charged with first-degree murder during his initial court appearance on Tuesday in Idaho.
