Here Are 20 Montana Restaurants Proven Worth The Drive
How Far Are You Willing To Drive For A Good Meal?
Growing up in a small town in the middle of nowhere can have it's advantages, but there are also disadvantages as well.
One of the reasons is there aren't too many places to eat and sometimes they might not even serve dinner.
Whenever my parents and I wanted to eat out, we had to drive at least an hour, which got me to thinking.
It's no big deal for Montana residents to drive 3 to 4 hours to a neighboring "big city," but would we be willing to drive that far just for a meal?
I posed the question "What restaurant are you willing to drive over an hour just to eat at?" on Facebook, and we got some great answers.
A Mix Of Local And National Chains
We probably received a total of 60 to 70 restaurants, but for simplicity's sake we narrowed it down to those that got more than one name mention.
The nice thing it wasn't all just national chains, in fact the majority of answers were restaurants that are only available here in Montana.
That's not to say national chains are bad, my parents and I used to drive an hour once a month to Pizza Hut so I could earn my BOOK IT! pizza.
Another great thing about the answers we got was the fact we had plenty of small town eateries named as worth the drive.
So here are 20 Montana restaurants we think are totally worth the drive. 👇
