Enroll Now For Free Hunter Education Courses In Central Montana
Aspiring hunters can now enroll in an in-person Hunter Education classroom course in Great Falls.
The course is free for attendees but requires advanced registration and can be accessed online at fwp.mt.gov/education/hunter-education.

Course Details
The course sessions will occur from 7 to 9 p.m. on March 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, and 21 at the Paris Gibson Education Center in Great Falls.
Additionally, attendance at a field course on the morning of Saturday, March 23, is mandatory.
Before beginning the first class, students must pick up materials and complete the course manual.

Online Hunter Education Course
For individuals aged 12 and above, Montana offers a self-paced online-only hunter education course.
This online option caters to those comfortable with e-learning platforms or with solid firearms and hunting backgrounds.
However, students between the ages of 12 and 17 who opt for Hunter or Bowhunter Education online must complete an in-person field day successfully.

Additional Opportunities in North-Central Montana Communities
Apart from the Great Falls courses, other Hunter Education courses are presently available for registration in various north-central Montana communities:
- Conrad: Beginning March 4
- Fairfield: Beginning March 5

- Lewistown: Beginning March 25
