How To Find the Best Aquifer Water in Montana
I grew up on a ranch in central Montana renowned for hunting and registered Herford cattle. But there was another secret gem within the property fence lines; that of water coming directing from the mountain surrounding us.
Drinking from a mountain stream is probably one of the biggest things I miss about being on the ranch. But I have stumbled upon something that might allow me to find some of those great streams wherever I go.

Of course, there is a difference between city and mountain water. One is treated via a process at our local plant, the other through Mother Nature. For me, the latter is always going to be the choice. But where to find that cool spring water can be a problem.

To find out if there is a spring or aquifer near you, check out the Montana map here. Many of them are for the western part of the state, in the more mountain terrain areas.
