Expansion Plans and New Flights Coming to GF Airport
Mother Nature is turning down the thermostat and Old Man Winter's winds, and snow are becoming more and more prevalent each day. Those cooler temperatures might make you want to hop a flight and find a warmer climate to warm the bones.
The Great Falls International Airport is excited to welcome that cooler weather for travelers with new flights through United Airlines beginning at the end of October. The airport is also updating two concourses, bringing even more amenities, technology and viewing opportunities to travelers local and abroad.

Expansion Plans and New Flights Coming to GF Airport
Beginning on October 26, 2025, travelers from the GFIA using United Airlines will find the service has been boosted for the holiday season with afternoon all-Airbus flights being offered. The morning/night arrival flights will also convert to 76-seat regional jets which marks the first daily mainline service in Q4 at GTF in 20 years.

Travelers also will notice that construction is now underway on the West Concourse Expansion at the airport, expected to wrap up in late 2026.
The new construction is to expand Gates 1 and 2 with more seating for the larger aircraft and to add new restrooms between the gates.
The update will include expanded restaurant seating and room for future venues inside security. The new, modernized concourse will have more power outlets, better signage, bigger windows, and an outdoor seating area for people.
The airport suggests arriving a few minutes ahead of your normal airport schedule in case of delays caused by construction.
