
Youth Hockey Players Can Practice All Summer in Great Falls
For many in the state of Montana, winter activities are what they live for. Skiing, snowboarding, hitting trails with a snowmobile and more. But, while it may be a touch shorter than we want, warm weather and summer are coming. Each year.
So, what can people, especially kids, do if they love winter a winter activity? Well, in the case of hockey players, the Great Falls Ice Plex has something that can keep them active all summer long and have amazing benefits when the next snow flies and ponds start to freeze over.

Youth Hockey Players Can Practice All Summer in Great Falls
The Great Falls Ice Plex has announced that they will be hosting youth and high school hockey players with "Baldy's Shooting Club". This will allow kids the opportunity to practice their shooting skills throughout the summer months.

The new club is set to kick off on April 13, 2026, and continue through September 18, 2026, at the Great Falls Americans Hockey off ice hockey center. The cost for the program is $100 per child with unlimited use of the facility and more.
Practice Makes Perfect - Can You Do 10,000 Shots in the Summer?
The program is aiming for each participant to collect 10,000 total shots taken over the summer at the facility. Youth will receive a t-shirt, have access to coaches for instruction, and have their name and shot totals placed on the Wall of Fame.
