I admit that after nearly two decades of getting up for a morning radio show, there are still mornings that I don't have it together. My mind is a little foggy and random thoughts are the norm.
This morning was one of those times where an intrusive, random thought caught fire, and I just had to have an answer.
How Do These Stay Clean in our Montana Weather Every Single Day
Traffic lights. We see them every day we drive. But my intrusive thought this morning had me wondering why we never see anyone cleaning these things. Seriously, have you ever seen someone with a rag and glass cleaner wiping them down?

Not even a power washer from the back of a pickup truck. Ever. How the heck do these things stay clean in our wacky weather patterns day in, day out?

I Am Baffled and Intrigued How These Things Stay Clean in Montana
With out weather patterns across the state, or really anywhere for that matter, how do these things stay clean from the constant barrage of debris? Think about how much abuse your paint or headlights on your car get each day.
The low energy consumption of LED lights can pose a driving risk in some areas during winter. Unlike incandescent and halogen bulbs, which generally get hot enough to melt away any snow that may settle on individual lights, LED displays remain too cool for this to happen.
