Free Summer Meals for Kids Offered By GFPS
As the school year wraps up for students in Great Falls, many of them will be celebrating the freedom of not having to wake up to hit the books. But for some, it can mean something totally different.
It is a hard pill to swallow, but there are a significant number of Great Falls youth that once school ends, will be wondering if they will have food each day to eat. Great Falls Public Schools hope to ease those concerns with free meals during the summer.

Free School Lunches in Great Falls to Begin Soon for Youth
The free lunch program with GFPS will begin on June 11, 2025, and continue into the summer until August 14, 2025. No service will be offered on the July 4th holiday.

The free meals are offered to anyone 18 or younger. There is no application or registration to take advantage of the free meals during the summer.
Breakfast Available at Paris Gibson, Lunch at Several Schools in Great Falls
The program will offer breakfast served at Paris Gibson Alternative School from 8am to 9:30am with lunch served from 11:30am to 1pm.
Other schools that will offer lunches include the following:
- Chief Joseph Elementary
- Lions Park
- Sunnyside Elementary
- Valley View Elementary
- West Elementary
- Rhodes Park
- Carter Park
- Gibson Park
- West Kiwanis Park
