My New Worst Intersection in Great Falls
Across our fair city of Great Falls are a few intersections that can be a little dicey. Intersections that have twin turn lanes are always a problem, with the inside lane drifting over.
Or the problem of who goes when at a 4-way stop sign.
But this new problem is something that happens at a specific intersection as I make my way to work, and it is kind of worrisome.
The Optimal Time in The Morning in Great Falls
My workday may start a little earlier than some, but the roadways are still bustling early in the morning with shift changes happening at 5am.
Of course, 10th Avenue South is busier than many streets, but the corner of 13th Street and 10th Avenue seems to be receiving a lot more as of late. And those that travel from south to north seem to have forgotten who has the right of way at the little blinky light.

Blinking Red Means You Can Go, yes. But Not Before the Blinking Yellow
The problem I am seeing is those that are trying to turn on to 10th from 13th aren't watching for those that may be turning to go south towards the mall. In just the last month I have had to smell burnt brake pad as someone pulled in front of me more than once.

Remember that yellow has the right of way when approaching a flashing red signal. And yes, that means the little car that is turning from that street also has it. Be careful out there drivers!
