These Movies Are 30 Years Old – Movies from My Senior Year of High School.
Friday morning was one of those days. Something just hits ya, and BAM! You are taking a trip down memory lane. Now, this has nothing to do with my morning show partner telling me that this year marks 30 years since I graduated from High School. What!??!! I'm not too bothered by this because it's simply not true. No way. I feel older, but not someone who graduated high school 30 years ago. There has got to be some kind of strange time thing that has seriously screwed things up.
Until the time thing gets fixed, it is true. I graduated from High School in 1993. While talking about the movies from our graduating year, JD had his list of top 10 from 1986. Top Gun, Color of Money, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Stand By Me. Check out his article here. I have to admit that there were some pretty iconic movies released in 1986, but 1993 had some legendary movies released.
There are those movies that played a part in who you are today. Movies that pulled at your heart strings, movies that made you feel like you could conquer the world. Those movies that we know almost every single word to. Those movies you try to pass down to your children, but they clearly don't feel the same way about it as you do. Those movies that take you back in time and put a smile on your face and remind you that "they don't make them like they used to."
