It still will catch me at times when I leave for work in the morning and look down my alleyway towards the old Morony Natatorium building.  The random headlights from vehicles still confuses me.

But I now have something new to look at each time I head out from the garage at the Morony Park.  Have you noticed some of the activity happening between 1st and 2nd Avenue North in Great Falls?

From Rubble to Romping - New Playground in Great Falls

For many residents in Great Falls, the Natatorium Pool was where we learned to swim as a youngster.  But after being deemed unsafe by the city several years ago, the building needed to be reduced to rubble.

But from the destruction comes an all-new location for the youth and families in the Electric City to come together and enjoy an afternoon at the park.  City Park and Recreation employees have been busy erecting an all new playground at Morony Park.

New Park in Great Falls is ADA Accessible for All to Enjoy Every Day

The new equipment for the park in nearing completion and will be available to the public soon.

The new equipment will include slides, swings and more.  The Morony Park also features a separate swing and basketball court for residents to use.
