
Ride to Honor Missing Soldiers from Montana Coming in August
There are moments when I stare out the window on beautiful Montana Spring days and wonder why I ever sold my motorcycle. Especially with gas prices the way they are currently.
And while my riding days may be behind me, I still enjoy seeing those groups of enthusiasts gathering and riding together. Even more so when it involves honoring those that have served our country and have made the ultimate sacrifice in times of war.

Ride to Honor Missing Soldiers from Montana Coming in August
The Montana POW/MIA Awareness Association is set to host the 13th Annual "Ride to Remember" on August 14-15, 2026. The association is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing POW/MIA awareness and veteran issues to the forefront in Helena, Montana.

The event begins on Friday night in at the East Helena Main Street Park and features a BBQ, open registration for bikes and riders, silent auctions and raffles. The pre ride BBQ is from 5-7pm, with a $20 per bike registration fee.
Honoring POW/MIA in Montana - You Are Not Forgotten
The ride will honor and bring awareness to the 53 missing service members who never returned home to Montana and are unaccounted for. It will appropriately take place on Highway 287 in the state which is the POW/MIA Memorial Highway, beginning in East Helena.
On Saturday, registration will open again from7:30-9am. Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30am. Beginning at 10:30am, kickstands up and riders will follow a 183-mile trek with a police escort out of East Helena to Pioneer Park, located in West Yellowstone, Montana.
