Morgan Wallen pulled out all the stops at his show in Kansas City on Friday night (Aug. 2), bringing celebrity guests to the stage at Arrowhead Stadium. The internet lost its mind — both pro and con — when Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones waked to the stage with Wallen.

Wallen was wearing a special red No. 7 jersey emblazoned with his own name, which many perceived as a nod to controversial Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.

Butker became a right-wing hero and left-wing punchline after comments he made earlier in 2024 during a commencement speech at Benedictine College, a private Catholic university. His remarks took aim at women in the work force, Pride Month and abortion access, and Vox called his speech "a textbook case of conservative sexism and homophobia."

The fans on hand at the stadium show lose their minds in the TikTok video above, and the reaction online was just as intense when the footage went viral Friday night and Saturday morning (Aug. 3).

Many conservative fans online gloated over what they perceived as Wallen's message of support for Butker, while a number of liberal country fans slammed the singer and called Kelce — who's been very publicly dating Taylor Swift — into question for his choice to be seen with Wallen.

Wallen has previously sported the No. 7 on various jerseys at his shows over the years, as an homage to his own number when he played high school baseball in Georgia.

The show on Friday was part of Wallen's ongoing 2024 One Night at a Time Tour. Wallen also invited Lainey Wilson and Brooks & Dunn to the stage for collaborations the previous night.
