"Our top priority is school safety, every day," said Executive Director Lance Boyd. "This training will allow our staff to prepare for real-life situations, ensuring they are ready to respond swiftly and effectively if such an event were to occur."
The goal of the training is to prevent incidences and prepare to ensure safety in our schools.

The training will include collaboration with local law enforcement and first responders and work to promote a coordinated response to emergencies.
As part of the training, law-enforcement first responders and school personnel will participate in live simulated events.
This will consist of simulated gunshots and other noises.
