Janicki Industries $830 Million Investment In Great Falls
After months of speculation, council meetings, and competition from other states, Janicki Industries has officially announced that it has selected Great Falls as the site for a massive expansion project.
This is not just another company opening its doors. This is an $830 million investment in our community and could end up being one of the largest economic development projects in Great Falls history.
The project is expected to be built on a 185.5-acre parcel in the AgriTech Industrial Park, and local leaders say it could eventually bring more than 1,000 new jobs to the area.
This Is a Historic Win for Great Falls
For years, Great Falls has worked to attract more high-paying careers and create opportunities that allow people to stay here, raise a family here, and build a future here.
Before those jobs arrive, there is the construction phase, which is expected to add up to 2 million square feet of production space over the next decade. Once completed Janicki has said it could provide the area with more than 2,000 jobs.
Janicki choosing Great Falls could be the first domino to fall, helping put the Electric City on the radar for other companies looking to grow and expand in Montana.
For Great Falls, this is about as big of a win as you could ask for.
