Remember when you used to be able to arrive at the airport 2 minutes before the plane took off and no one bothered you as you made your way to your seat?

Okay, maybe it wasn't that nonchalant, but flying in America changed drastically after 9/11, and we still are feeling the aftereffects of it today.

What Is Allowed Or Not Allowed On Flights

These days, it seems the list of what you can bring on a flight is shorter than what you can't bring on a flight.

The TSA even has a website page called "What Can I Bring," which highlights what you can and cannot bring on your next flight.

Oddly enough, these "cat-eyes" are not listed on the webpage as being banned, but the TSA has seen such an uptick of travelers with these items that they issued a warning saying they were prohibited.

What Are "Cat Eyes" And Why Has The PSA Prohibited Them?

Almost all weapons are banned from being brought onto the plane in your carry-on bag, and that's what these "cat-eyes" are.

Think brass knuckles but more discrete and able to be used as a keychain. You slip your fingers through the holes and then use the ears to stab would be attackers, plus they're legal in Montana and can be bought at your local Scheels.
