There is an excellent school system here, plenty of activities year-round for families, and we are smack dab in the middle of the most beautiful state in America. We have rivers or mountains in any direction, plus we're just a hop, skip, and jump away from Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

However, sometimes I wonder what it would be like raising my family in other cities around Montana. Is the grass really greener on the other side of the mountains? With so many people moving into the state, and perhaps locals wanting relocate within in Montana, I decided to take a look at some of the best places here to raise a family.
