Great Falls PD Wants to See Your Physical Identification, Not Digital

Digital IDs won't be accepted as a form of identity according to the Great Falls Police Department's social media.  The department stated that:

technology is making its way to traffic stops with Montana Highway Patrol. However, we do not offer the same service. If a member of GFPD requires your driver's license or identification, you must present it in a physical form.

The Montana Motor Vehicle Division also recommends keeping that driver's license or state id with you, stating "still always carry an acceptable compliant physical ID for verification while mobile ID acceptance continues to expand across law enforcement agencies in Montana".
