Staying healthy in life is a constant battle that can seem like a fruitless endeavor that isn't ever going to be something to achieve.  Life tends to get in the way of self-care, and it can lead to big problems as we age.

Benefis Health Systems in Great Falls, Montana is aiming to help those wanting to maintain their health or even begin on a new journey of self-care.  They've recently broken ground on a new facility that is geared for exactly that in our community.

Benefis Breaks Ground in May for New Facility to Open in 2026

In May of this year, Benefis broke ground on what will become a 15,000 square foot facility that will help with staying healthy as we age.  Located on 10th Avenue South in Great Falls, the building will be adjacent to the Women's and Children's Center.

The Goodnow Healthy Aging Center is set to open in the late fall/winter of 2026 and is hoping to be "an innovative project that aims to bridge care gaps for patients who want to stay fit, sharp, and active during their senior years".

What to Expect for Services with New Healthy Aging Center in Great Falls

The new outpatient facility will address several different issues and aspects of healthy aging including:

• nutrition
• medication
• cognitive health
• mobility

According to Benefis, the Goodnow Healthy Aging Center will offer patients the ability to "to see specialists in related fields such as audiology at the center instead of trying to navigate the larger system".  You can learn more about the new center here.
