GFPS Announce New Principal for West Elementary

Great Falls Public Schools on Monday March 24, 2025, announced that a replacement has been selected to lead West Elementary in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.

During a meeting, an interview panel composed of faculty, staff, parents, and district
leaders interviewed qualified candidates for the next Principal of West Elementary School.

Newest Great Falls Principal Has Long Ties to School

In making the announcement, GFPS has named Mrs. Lacee Lewis to succeed Mrs. Lyndsey Stulc, the outgoing principal.

Lewis began her career in Great Falls Public Schools teaching second grade at West
Elementary School and has had a wide variety of teaching experiences across grade levels and buildings.  She has also been an Administrative Intern and Associate Principal.

In the social media announcement, Mrs. Lewis stated that:

I am honored and excited to be returning home to West Elementary. West has always had a special place in my heart. I look forward to working with the dedicated staff, students, and parents to create an environment where every child can thrive. GO WILDCATS!!!

GFPS added that Lewis "is passionate about building a positive school culture that promotes safety, consistency, and proven instruction to positively impact student outcomes. Lacee brings nearly 20 years of experience in education to this leadership
