Extended Hunting Camp Permits Now Available for Little Belts
Preparation can mean everything when trying to bag the big one during hunting season in Montana. But even then, well, it can be a "crap shoot" on whether the animals, the weather or the terrain all cooperate at the same time.
There is also the other scenario that I have heard all too often in the hunting camp; "I saw a nice buck but passed him up hoping for a bigger one". He in fact does not get a bigger one. But what if camp could last longer? Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks are making that happen for lucky hunters in the Little Belt Mountains.

MFWP has announced that there will be thirteen extended hunting camp permits for hunters this year in the Little Belt Mountains, near Great Falls, Montana. The extended permits allow hunters to stay longer than the traditional 16-day occupancy limit.
